Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.

Coaching is a powerful way of unlocking our potential and enabling us to achieve our goals in life.

Who is it for?

GritED offers bespoke transformative coaching to individuals and organisations who:

  • want to achieve a certain goal, but are unsure of how to get there;
  • face a transition in life or work;
  • look to enhance their creativity;
  • want to become more inclusive and diverse.

The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as:

… partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the clients to maximise their personal and professional potential.

What does that mean?

It means that coaching provides a space for thinking, learning and growing.

How does it work?

Coaching works by asking questions that encourage, guide and challenge clients to reflect on their perceptions, thoughts and feelings.

Coaching offers clients the coach’s complete and undivided attention through active listening.

Coaching is being present in the moment, holding the space for the client to think, feel and learn from within themselves – free from any preconception, judgement or expectation.

Coaching can be done face-to-face, by phone, mobile or by video.

What is required?

Coaching requires the clients to commit to and engage with the coaching process.

What coaching is not:

Coaching is not mentoring. Coaching does not offer advice. It does not seek to influence others.

Transformative coaching believes that the power of learning is within each and everyone of us. The beauty of coaching lies in the trust that every person finds their own answers within their life experience and their own mind.

The role of a coach

A coach guides, encourages and challenges by asking powerful questions, listening attentively and creating a space for the client to think in order to learn, live and soar.
